I tried to make a skin in inkscape, but in the game all the skin parts are in all the place. i don't know what to do.

Drag it into Teeworlds/Contents/Resources/Data/ and delete Game.png and replace with your Game.png.
EDIT: What OS are you on? It is different depending on your OS.
I need to figure out something to put here.

Oww.. Eldan.. Its so hard with you >< If its bad why you posted it? As jo96el said - its very hard to make a
gameskin, you need MORE then 5 minutes >.< Sometime it can take 5, or even 7 hours!! O,...,o

A few tips:
- Just as a rule of thumb for gameskins, you need to use the dilate executable, which can be compiled from the source. If you don't, there will be thin white lines around your game.
- Try making your game in a vector program, photoshop, or gimp. That way, you won't have pixelly edges. Pixelly edges, or saw edges, don't match with the TW style.
Some other tips:
- The Katana effect is supposed to be a particles, it should not have a stroke.
- They should have a little bit of shading, preferably small on all areas.
- Try to make your flags symmetrical.

by me there always is a white line, how do you use this dilate excutable and where is it?!
