Topic: [Linux fix] Sound problems in KDE...

I've seen that many people (including me) have sound problems with teewars on linux.

If you're using kde (the windows-looking linux desktop manager), you're probably using arts. (If you don't know what it is, you're most likely using it.)

In order to make teewars's sound work properly, go in control center > sound&multimedia > sound system, and do the following :
-Tick the "Auto suspend if idle" checkbox (if it's not already the case)
-Set the time to 1 second
-Apply

It solved the problem for me, hope it'll be the same for you...
(And please, teewars's dev team... Please... Switch to sdl_mixer (or fmod, which is basically a developing framework to use it) someday if it's not too painful ! It works so nicely with everything on linux...)

Re: [Linux fix] Sound problems in KDE...

So only KDE has the problem. My friend said his sound keeps quitting... I'll show him this. In Gnome it's fine.

No, that is not me; it's just a figment of your imagination.

I don't know if it's a kde-only problem, only that kde can cause this problem... For example, musicians should also take note to turn off jack while playing, as usual...
