Topic: [SOLVED] TeeWorlds laggy on Ubuntu

Hello smile
Well, I use to play TeeWorlds on Windows 7, but becuase of my beta expired did i get Fedora, where TeeWorlds worked fine, but not the flash plugin. So therefore did i swich to Ubuntu, where my TeeWorlds doesn't work good. It's really laggy and the sound is wierd. I have turned off the Vsync but it's still laggy. I have copied my settings.cfg from my windows version to the linux, and it worked on Fedora, but Idk if it's the problem here. If it is, will somebody be sweet to copy the settings file, so i can get it? smile
BTW, I have tried both the 5.1 version from the software center and 5.2 from this site, the problem is the same.

Have you tried this?
This could at least help with the sound problem.
Have you installed a real driver for your graphic card?

Check settings -> admin -> external drivers and see if there's something there. Might be another name, since I'm not using Ubuntu (KDE ftw).

Noyoshi: what grummi meant, when talking about "real drivers" is, do you use vesa drivers, or free drivers, or the closed drivers for your graphics card. The best solution in terms of graphic quality is probably to use the closed drivers(also this is against the linux mentality), but using the free drivers can also work very well in many cases.
