Because this post was getting a bit too big with all my arts and skins and stuff, and it's still getting bigger, I have decided to clear this post up. You can now view all of my arts/skins and other stuff at my website: www.icedrake.tumblr.com. Please leave comments and constructive criticism, and check back often there for more updates!

Why does the PNG-version have a white background? It should have a transparent background. Also the size of the inkscape document is to big. Reduce it to 256x128 pixel.
Other than that it should work.

I don't really know why it has a white background. How do I make it transparent (this is also my first time using Inkscape)?

it has a white background, because you saved it as a cairo png in the actual inkscape program itself. go get gimp, and open the svg and save it as png IN gimp.

Or Export it as a PNG from Inkscape: [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [E]
That way you don't need Gimp.

The shadow on the body of the newest version is too big. You should change it back the way it was so it matches the standard skins.

Thanks for all the kind comments everyone, it's very encouraging! Thanks for the suggestion Grummi. I'll consider that, and probably release a version with the smaller shadow later.

EDIT: Two more new skins have been released. The Gold n' Silver tee, and the Olympic tee. Any constructive criticism would be awesome!

EDIT 2: I'm going to try for a Batman tee next, to see how it turns out. If it's good, I'll upload it here, if not, I'll make a better version to upload here.

EDIT 3: Well I made a Batman tee. I think it looks pretty good, but I still think it could use some improvements. I uploaded it anyway.

Also, any comments or constructive criticism on my stuff would be nice so that I can improve them.

Nice pics, but don't draw mouths, please. Try to express their emotions only with the eyes of the tee.

Thanks for the nice comment Ida. smile Skin making is not very hard once you get the hang of it, and I'm pretty sure you could start making great skins too. I only started making skins and art a few weeks ago, and I think I'm doing pretty good, so you could definitely do it. IMHO, the first skin is always the hardest. Once you have that first skin, or that base skin done, making more skins will be easy. smile
