Topic: [HELP] can't see servers\ping 999

hi everyone.
lately i'm not able to see most of the servers on tw, or most of them have 999 ping and i recognize them by their IP address (that's how you call it, right? big_smile ). anyways, even if i do recognize a server, most of the time i can't connect to it.
what can i do to fix it? or is just my internets fault? even though i didn't have this problem in the past.

game
emoticons
debug_font
skins
mapres
maps
gui_cursor
console_bar
if you miss something as this, just download teeworlds zip, and copy the data, tongue

Have you checked your router? it's maybe something wrong with that, i think that you should look in the FaQ or at Teewiki, otherwise i can't help

What a fuckin noob answer.
IMHO Sakuri should be banned for his unpolite answer, by the way I'm not a moderator and i've no powers.

@Adigagirl:
That's a diffused problem. If you can see only some servers and the other are checked as notcompatible/ping 999 it's a router or modem problem.
Check the configuration of your device, if you gave us the name we can help you more. You should disable internal firewall / dos and flood protection / open necessary ports
Be sure Windows Firewall is disabled and there are no software blocking outgoing traffic on the UDP port.

@Adiga, my friend had same problem, (he called me when i commented!) and asked for help, when i checked he's data, he hadnt a map, and no gui_cursor tongue

it is probablly the firewall thing. my dad changed some stuff on the computer. big_smile
