Topic: [BUG] Saving a map in editor (mac)

Hello,

I have this problem when I save a map in the map editor.
When I am finished making a (simple) map, I save the map using "Save As" under the "File" menu. When I'm trying to open it in the editor, it shows me an empty map.

I tried saving on a different mac too, but it got the same problem.

hum.. U save the map after you created the map?

You must Click on "Save As" before you make the map, so i know.
Give it a try.

I tried
- Save As > Make map > Save (NOT IMP)
And
- Save As > Make Map > Save As

But when I open the map again, it still shows me an empty map..
I tried making a map on a PC laptop then importing it with an USB drive to my mac and I could open it, but when I edited the same map and saved it. It went empty..

Also the saved maps dont have the .map extension in my maps folder. They are just the name I gave them and the size is something like zero to 4 kb..

wen you want to save a map you need to save it like this "mappname.map" try that.. smile

I had already seen that post, but my problem is that I cant save a map, his problem is that he cant open the map... :S

make sure you put the .map extension!

shift+S.
save as:
mapname.MAP!
than run it.
mapname
no .map when you will run it.

after you saved your map (mapname.map), can you find the map in your map-files? maybe their is a problem with saving....(maybe write-protected?) coz if it isnt saved well, than he cant open this map (mapname.map), and will show you an empty map

Check your download, maybe you downloaded a corrupted Version .
