Topic: [HELP] rassists kick me!!!

I have been playing teeworlds since a few weeks and today I have been kicked, because I am german!!

This seems sort of ridiculous... How do you think we are able to help you in this matter? Also i believe there might have been other reasons for you having been kicked. Anyway, just play on an other server, there are like about 1000.... so what if you have been kicked from one? Of course, it is not nice, to kick people because of their nationality, but what do you want to do about it? Anyway, I think this topic is kind of senseless....

I don't think people would kick you because your German... Most players in teeworld are Germans...like probably 60% and up are German players, so I doubt that is why you are being kicked. Plus, if that is really why you are being kicked, you can always take our your (GER) tag so people don't know your nationality. I've had to take my (U*S*A) tag out before because a bunch of racists were kicking me, but afterwords they didn't.
Lastly, we can't help you with punishing the people that kicked you, (that requires an account system) so just deal with it with the suggestions we gave you. smile

I know that nobody can`t help me, but it was not only me. 3 or 4 other german were kicked because we spoke in german and some wrote germans or so. I am so angry about those people. Everywhere in europe and america they say:"oh a german. Nazi?" That sucks!!

Then what did you want to accomplish by making this topic if you knew that no one could help you?
And if it was because you were mad, then, I understand. I does suck, but making a topic like this does nothing to help the teeworlds forums... :\

Teeworlds server are administrated by their admins, and they can do everyone with/on it. So, they can also put a password, or kick people they don't like, for every reason.
I know, it's sad, but it's like this in 90% of other online games. It's not only a Teeworlds problem, it's a society problem.
And, if you think that Teeworlds is composed in major part of germans... that's also incredible.

So... in a few words:
- this topic is senseless, because you know we can't do nothing for you and other players. It's not a Teeworlds-related problem
- the kick is only temporany, by the way... the default is 5 minutes.
- change server (there are over than 1000!!!), or build your own server. If you join a server, you agree that admins could kick you for every reason without motivation.

By the way, this kind of problems are not related to developers in any ways. They are planning to make an account system in next release, improving server managment too.
Razzism by players? Devs are not responsible of this.

btw... there is a simple trick to avoid this... just dont talk german if u know that the server admins are stupid wink

uptee - a simple web interface for hosting and maintaining teeworlds servers
teerace - a website gathering results of trusted Race-mod servers providing global ranking and statistics

As many people before me have made clear this is unfortunately not something with which the Teeworlds team can help you. Servers are property of their administrators and they are more or less free to do what they want with these servers. If they want to reserve it for a single country or language then this is their choice.

Your best option is to choose another server which will hopefully show some more respect for your nationality. You can also host your own server which you can administrate yourself. Another option might be to join a German clan which hosts it's own server, where you as a member can play.
