I have one question
Are there plans to hand out discs with TeeWorlds or printed information folders?
What about decoration, such as cardboard standups, posters/placards and signs?!
We haven't thought about handing out Teeworlds CD's or similar, which i consider an actually very good idea of yours. Our possibilities are mainly limited by money, so we will try to get the most we can.

There are Minidiscs too (8cm) with a capacity of 210 Mb.
The prices for a usual CD-R are at 0,9 € (Euros) per disc (with high qualitee print and paper-packaging with transparent "window").
For such a huge event you will need around 1000 discs or more. (With shippingcosts you would have to pay 700 up to 1100 € (Euros) for all discs (depending on manufacturer).
Another option would be a kind of printed information-folder about TeeWorlds with a downloadinstruction.
What i can tell though, is that we plan to hand out TeeWorlds T-shirts, designed and created by famous forum members.
Please don't say you are giving them away for free...
Ordering printed "Tee-Shirts" will cost a lot of money...

It would be a good idea to produce and sell "Tee-Shirts" and other merchandise articles to found the development of TeeWorlds instead of collecting donations using PayPal...
TeeShirts was my idea, too.
Nothing lets gamers come to the stand more than an event on a stage, where TShirts were given away for free.
btw, teeworlds cds are not really that useful.
I mean, it isn't really that difficult to download and unzip the game ;D

There could be a big mistake - when used to multiplayer game player first comes to TW - what he can see? ping 200? I bet, there was not one of them...
First you can try only a couple of servers similar to T|C CTF server or russian RTC servers - with tons of useful votes.

You can, for example, take minidiscs - those, which Shokomuesli reminded of - and fill them with all content you can find - from skins for everything - to demo by famous players.
I bet, if you will ask, there would be a nerd that can record smth like manualor self-teacher=)

Making a starter package would be a cool idea

I don't believe there is a developer ready to create installer and arrange all this stuff...
But, anyway, there are some simple ways to fill 210 Mb quickly and usefully=)
The most simple, i think, is to create HTML guide for that content.

Maybe it is a stupid idea but...Maxi from Giga always played Teeworlds in his show, he is from Ausrtia too and as far as I can imagine he has not really much to do after Giga went down. We could ask him if he comes with us to the GCO and present Teeworlds on the stage there. I mean, that is what he did years of his life, I am sure he can do that better than anyone of the community.

1. Point: Bad idea but: How about contacting some contributors of GIGA (http://www.giga.de/) via mail or skype. Maybe they know how to contact him, maybe they even could help us with advertising on their forums.
2. Point: What about advertising on some famous teeworlds sites, cause not everyone is registered here or visit this page. Haven't seen any advertising on these forums yet...

3. Point: What about making a Teeworlds-Trailer or Teeworlds Video for this event. Would be a good advertisment, too. And could even be used at your stand 
4. Point: Well I can't influence this, but: If Teeworlds Developers are fast with making next version (0.5.3 or 0.6.0) you could give a preview on it. Only available at GCO, would be interesting for some players, too.
5. Point: Why have giveaways if you could use them as prices (or use the prices in addition to the giveaways)

1) we already tried to contact GIGA.
2) I've advertised the idea on the teeworlds arena .de forum. I have no time now, I will do it later in other forums.
3) We'll make cicle best Teeworlds videos. If someone will make a trailer, nice ^^
4) I will ask devs, but I don't think so. By the way, this event will be more interesting for new players that for people that already know the game.
5) Maybe Amn will answer you better. I'm not the right person.
the only thing i dislike about the whole mess, is that there going to be nearly only german players, fo shure. Nobody from england, russia or whatever is going to pay for such flight to germany only to meet some people that u dont know.

There are going to be germans, yeah, because the event is in Germany. But there will be also italians, austrians and, I hope, some french.
Nobody from england, russia or whatever is going to pay for such flight to germany only to meet some people that u dont know.=(
This is a european big gaming event, I can't do more. If they are interested in gaming in general, this could be a great opportunity for them to visit Germany. If they are not interested or not motivated to come to visit our Teeworlds stand or play with us, there are no problem. Less player = more organisation.
Teeworlds-Community.de would like to take a part in planing this event.
We have allready planed a Teeworlds-Community.de Community LAN-Party, but now we would like to come to play there with some other peoples.

1) because it's important (and I think it could be sticked)
2) because there are news. GCO is organising the event and all is going on like planned.
3) I've just built in a few minutes the TeeCon website using the Magix template ^^ In the next days I will make it perfect.
