Topic: [QUESTION] Server with bots with gametype CTF

today a saw a server with 3 Zbots they are capting the flag and kill all
its nice but this mod run as CTF is it allowed?
because matrix wrote this:

Running mods as DM, TDM or CTF servers will earn you a ban

the server name is:
[FR] zeRezor: CTF5 with bots.

those bots are clients ones, named bot Royal --'

This is not a mod, so he can.
(Btw Zbot run on a specificated mod)

They are just bot|royale, not zbot.

Exactly, royale is only playing with bots and hes not modding the server, only his client.

Bot|royale and Zbot both rock.
still don't understand why can't realease as binaries though.
fear of aimbot? Oh no. like anyone smart enough to extract binaries
couldnt find one using google. smile just for fun i looked up 2 downloads.
easy as heck. I still hope for binary post. obviously for myself who wants
bots for lan games. at lan party we got crappy i net. but 2on2 gets old.
w/bots 4on 10 would be much funner for 'train' and just playing around.
ya this game is free so playing with people is always there but the few people
in the dark ages w/o inet are totally missing out.  this game is awesome.
open source...er binary to the people!

It isn't the same than for ZBots, the bot|royale aren't server-side.
Then if he releases the binaries he will simply release a vanilla bot executable.
