Topic: [QUESTION] Convert demos?

Hi all,

My question is the following: Can we convert .demo in .avi, .wmp, or any other video file?
If yes, which software can I use?
If no, how can I do to post a video of me on (example) youtube? Use Hypercam? camstudio? anything else?

Convert .demo to a video file isnt possible atm.

You can use Hypercam,camstudio,fraps,xfire video or similar.

To post a video on youtube:

1. Record Demo File.
2. Record the demo file with Hypercam,camstudio,.....
3. Check the output video file. (edit if neccesary)
4. Create youtube account
5. Upload The video file created in 2.
6. Wait till youtube converted your video to flash format.
7. Watch it smile

As Dani said, you can't convert demo files because they aren't videos.
They are a kind of record of all actions, chatmessages, etc. needed to generate the scene big_smile

All you can do is to play the demo file, and use a screenrecorder such as Fraps, Gamecam, etc.

When you record videos, you may want to convert it to a 1280x720 .m2t file, so you can get HD quality big_smile

I shouldn't answer for others, but I one tried it, and you can just use fraps (the full version, of course) if you set Teeworlds to 1024*768 and half-size on fraps, depending on your computer whether you choose full-size or not.

Convert it and.. Well. You can upload and edit it, whatever you want to do wink
