Topic: [QUESTION] Mysterious spam-style rcon messages

Hi!

Can someone explain me what this message on the rcon means?!

[XXXXXXXX][]: "PlayerName"->"PlayerName"

(XXXXXXX is the Date, and PlayerName is the name of the player)

It appears every second if a specific player is online...

Is this an attempt to use already fixed "send-to" error bug?

It happens on my modified server when some player changes his nickname.

Why would someone change his name so often using a hack/script or whatever?

Should this crash the server or what?!

its simply the message when someone change is name. are u using the "normal"-server or a mod?

and at this point: devs, please clean the messages of the rcon up, its unreadable coz of too much non-interesting stuff.... f.e. the pickup-message.

This Message also appears if you change anything in your players settings like name, skin, skin-color, etc..
If your Server has no spamprotection (or RPG mod) this can crash the server, if to much players are doing this at the same time. ^^
