Topic: [SOLVED] Does everyone need to have a skin to see it?

I wanted to make my own custom skin for personal use, but I don't want other people to use it as well.
So I was wondering if someone else needs to have the skin file you're using for them to see it?
I haven't played a lot yet, but I haven't seen any custom skins beyond the base set, and I don't know if that's because I don't have the skins myself or if they just didn't use customs.

Hello and welcome to the Teeworlds community!

If you use a skin as I don't have, I'll see you wearing the default-skin. If I have the skin, but another name on it, I won't see it.

You can also delete a basic skin and put in a custom skin and name it like the one, you deleted. So anyone who sees you, will think you use a basic skin, but you see a custom skin.

That sucks
Considering how long it takes to download a custom map you would think they could support people using their own custom skins :l
