Topic: [TEESKIN] Acegiak's Skins

Here I'll post skins I've created.

My first is begoggled, because I wanted a steampunk themed skin, this is more of the inventor strain of steampunk rather than the steamborg strain:

For your first skin, it's look really nice. 8)
But the only thing is, the black part for the body, looks pixely.

yeah inkscape crashed just as I was about to do the black outlines so I made do with opening my half done png in gimp.

Nice skins! I agree with Xtreme Bee about the black part of the body being pixely. What are you doing to get that black part? Are you redrawing it, or are you duplicating your normal body and then filling it with black (the latter is the best way to do it).

in gimp I'm duplicating the body, selecting by alpha, filling with black and then tracing selection with another black line. If i were smart I'd copy in inkscape and make the lines thicker there, but I've forgotten twice now only to find it too late

Don't worry, mistakes happen. You could just open up the SVG's for your two skins above this and then create the black part in Inkscape. wink

The eyes do not match to the torst (in my opinion they should be blured, too and in another colour)

@acegiak: I was wondering about the little text you have at the corner of the screen. Does it display ingame with the skin, or does it work as maybe some sort of copyright logo?

I'm using an area of the imagemap that, as far as I can tell, is unused by the game to mark my creations. It wouldn't be hard to delete it if one were the kind of jackass that wants to steal peoples work and take credit, but I'm working on the assumption of lazyness to prevent that.
