Topic: [SOLVED] Ping and graphical issues after installing Windows.

I recently installed windows 7, and when I played teeworlds I immediately noticed problems
Before I had windows XP and it was perfect.
My friend told me I need a driver upgrade, but I don't know which ones.
Here are my problems
*Higher Ping- I'm USA and I usually have 100 or so, but now i have 400
*Mouse "Skipping"-The mouse doesn't go in a straight smooth line. It "skips" there, as in it kind of just appears there.
I'm not good at defining, sorry about that, but can anyone help me?

Sounds like you need to update your graphics drivers. First find out the name of your graphics card/graphics chip. Then go to the driver downloads page of the manufacturer of your GPU and select the exact model that you have.
The page you're looking for is probable one of the following: AMD/ATI drivers, nVidia drivers, Intel drivers

I'm not the most technological dude, so I'll tell you what I have
Windows 7 Home Premium
Processor: Inter(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 1 GB
32 Operating system
Am I looking at the right things right now?

*EDIT* I found the right info.
Name: Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family
I've tried going on the Intel Website, and I found this driver, but what am I supposed to do next?

Alexander, are you sure there's a graphic problem? I don't see how teeworlds would suddendly become more graphic intensive, because it was working just fine with windows XP and the exact same graphics card.

because you've not reinstalled drivers. And yes, it's a graphics problem, like i said you in-game smile

There's an yellow "!" sign saying "This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)" in the device manager.
I think it's because I manually downloaded that driver.
My real driver was discontinued by intel so I cannot do much.

and you installed 7 with the Aero graphics and the Directx11 on a PC with an Intel Graphics discontinued!?!?!?
downgrade to XP, now! xD

Are drivers software or hardware?
Must I purchase and physically install a driver or is a downloadable thing?
Is it free (probably not)

And I have another question here. I understand that my driver and the teeworlds graphics are exactly the same. I don't know why it has stopped working all of the sudden because of graphical problems.

And one last question (am i boring you all?). Why does that make my ping go incredibly high?

Well, in windows seven , your last drivers don't work.
A driver is a software wich make works your hardware with the OS.
Futhermore, because of this lack, your ping certainly is pretty high than normal.
Just search on goolge the driver which match your graphic card.

It has stopped working because your hardware can't use the VGA correctly. That's why: more lags and so on...

Because your VGA is not working properly. Check also your ethernet drivers for be sure.

Well I downloaded a few drivers, but they have that yellow "!" and won't work.
I'll give you my chip again and can you help me find some drivers?

I don't mean to be demanding:)
I'm not a technological person.
Can you please tell me what to do?
I have to download the latest driver and install it?
EDIT: So ok, I searched up my driver (Intel(R) 82915/GV/82910GL Express Chipset, and I came up with a bunch of options. I downloaded one, and it ran the wizard... then exited. Did it install?
Same for the motherboard
