I've not a fritx!box, but i can run it in a dlink wireless access point without problems.... it's linux based... just use old glibc

Re: [HELP] Server at a Fritz!Box?

Thanks for your reply.

Sry, but I'm really not exprienced with linux, but I know that the fritz!box is Linux based, too.
Could you just write a short summary of what you did at your router and I'll try to do something equivalent at mine.

Edit: Did you mean this
with

old glibc

?

2nd Edit: And what about your server? Is it less or more laggy than if you just start it from you PC?

Re: [HELP] Server at a Fritz!Box?

The Fritz!Box is a router with a MIPS processor. The binary/download packages on this websites are for x86/x86_64 CPUs. There's no way running these on a Fritz!Box!

The only thing you could try is to build teeworlds-server from the sources. You first need to setup a development environment for this architecture (which can be tricky; I compiled and used several applications on the Fritz!Box some time ago). Even if you accomplish to build the server (or get a statically linked binary from someone else) I doubt it runs fast enough to fit your needs.
