Topic: [PROJECT] TeeWorlds server modifications database (TeeMods)

Hello Tees!
Today, I have started developing TeeWorlds server modifications database. It will an website where you will can register your mod.
Planned features:
- Basic informations (homepage of every mod)
- Download page
- Bug reporting
- Changelog
- Discussion

User interface may have some AJAX features (some because of I am now learning it), project registerer may have permissions to edit informations in his project's page and administrators will have permissions to do everything (sweet administrator post).
I need some design - 2 columns. Left with menu and right with content.
I want your suggestions/opinions/comments!

If you're looking for data on some of the earlier mods you can get fairly detailed information for these on the TeeWiki.

there's already a teemods forum at teemods.scosu.org wink

i think it would be better and more efficient if we keep the whole community in as less forums and pages as possible. it's already divided in different languages, so why having  more pages for the same topic instead of improving the old ones?

You are true, but my project I am scheduling will be my own code, my own system, my own hosting and I will can improve the system for you. Do you know how much work did scosu taked with that phpBB forum?

hmm.. i know that such a site doesn't take long time to make. but i think it's better to keep it simple, why having so much work and effort for something which can be e.g. made as a thread in this forum?

i know what you mean, but i hope you get the point.. there are already two german teeworlds forums, with exactly the same content (that's just an example). and there will be more and more as people always want to make their own things..

but well, i don't want to talk this project out of you. it's a really nice idea and if it's well made it really has it's purpose. wink but i think that not many people will help you with this because they are into other things... but i'm offering you my help if you need it smile

At first, thanks for support. I am happy for somebodys help offer, but.. do you know HTML, CSS, PHP, SQL (MySQL) and JavaScript (optional AJAX)? If no, you can still try to make a logo for TeeMods website smile

i have a basic knowledge for HTML, CSS, PHP, SQL, MySQL and JavaScript. smile
would be good for me to see if i can still do such things, it's some time ago i made these things, though..
however, i will also try to make a logo, so we'll see what it will be.

I would help you too, if you want it, I also have a good knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript (more for the User Interface).

I did this logo some weeks ago because as I already said I had also the idea of a page for mods

ofcourse it is big_smile

and i can make more colors and things if u want for the disign!

Can you tell me a few things about disign:
things you need: menu,logo,content,feedbar
how they stand: like: on top the logo underthat the feedbar then the menu and then the content.
must the things hit eachother? like teeworlds site is the menu hitting the content (if you know what i mean)
background: a tee fight
basic color: red,black
width: the same size for every screen or fit to screen?
