try to turn off your IM and your firewall. If its get better, you did s.th. wrong with your ff (wrong permissions,...)... I saw it often, that the ff was the main cause in windows for ping lags

Do not download anything along the way.
Is it only one server or multiple?
DSL --> ask your telecommunication provider to activate fast path.

Do you use a swtich, hub, router or anything like this to go in the internet? Maybe your network is not properly installed and you get some packet-collusions.

Try to deactivate your firewall and/or virus scan, as Snew said.

i have deactivated my firewall now my ping is better but i have laggs

i think its enough for this game

ping has almost nothing to do with your computer processor and graphics. its all based upon your network connections, and how information gets from your computer to the server and back. Your problem lies with either your local network(router,hub,firewall,etc) or your ISP getting in the way.

Ping has nothing to do with hardware.

Downloads cause high pings.
Webradio CAN cause high ping.
Firewalls too.

--> what about router, hub/switch, external firewall? Or even a damage in the network-cable with lossy packets? Thaz a real hardware damage, isn't it?

He shall try to deactivate the virus scan-monitor and software-firewall.

try pinging a website like teewars.com

use the edit button ^^

No for sure stop running ICQ  xfire whatever and dont run any internet programs.
try to scan ur PC for spyware and control ur internet conection with netlimiter2.

it shows u which program uses ur connection.
