Request:
Could someone host another CRAZYmod-server [24/7]?
The server ist almost everytime so full that new players can't join the game,
so that players are even trying to kick other players so that their friends can join the game. sad
Apart from that, I really like the mod! big_smile

p.s.: I'm german too, and i corrected another mistake in my post above (via edit)

This mod is lol! I played it, it's just fun! Good work! smile

But I think it will be better if there are more commands like:
- sv_hammer_reload
- sv_gun_reload
- sv_grenade_reload
- sv_laser_reload
- sv_shotgun_reload
For example someone wants to change the reload time of the gun and the hammer but not of the grenade. So try to make this commands is the next version.

sv_reload_grenade
sv_reload_run
sv_reload_shotgun
sv_reload_laser
sv_reload_hammer

I have that commands in KottMod 3.

Thx for the new server. It is used very well.
For the "sv_reload_grenade" and the similar ones,
that should be a tuning variable (in tuning.cpp),
and not a server command/setting (if you know, what i mean).

Edit: It came to my mind, that the tuning variables are send to the client,
and therefore unknown tuning variables would maybe be problem.

After having an objective look at both KottMod and CRAZYmod it's only possible to agree that there's indeed some similarity in both the gameplay and commands of both mods. Nevertheless there's no reason to assume this is due to some kind of thievery or copying and is a bad thing for that matter.

Due to the similar gameplay it would only be logical to have more or less equal tuneable options. Most of these are general commands which are seen (in one form or another) in many other mods. Similar commands are only a good thing as people will be able to remember these and aren't required to learn new commands for each and every new mod. At the same time we need to accept that Teeworlds is an open source game and any project can and will be reworked to improve certain elements, that's why people post the source of their mod.

Although you made a point by saying there are some similarities you should try to appreciate this, it's a sign you made the right development choices and people agree with you these are worthy for other modifications. For now it's best for all if we consider this issue closed and take a positive turn at things. People will certainly enjoy both mods after all, no matter what commands are used.

I Agree with you, teeworlds is an Opensource game, and all other mods must be released with this License.
