@dinosmoothie: What do you mean with official way?
1) Matricks way - can't do it because of I can't download visual studio 2005  (have you got the link? send it!) and I have already Visual C# 2008 installed and its doing wrong things when there are two visuals installed
2) Way posted in first post of this topic - can't because it shows me error and I want to compile 0.5.1, not 0.4.x version
3) Third way I am trying to.. HELP

...It says here: http://www.teeworlds.com/?wiki=CompilingEverything that you just need visual c++ and the link shows the 2008 version. Which means it must work on 2008. Just delete the downloaded one and compile with the one you already have.

This is just wrong, there won't be any problem having both of them installed, so I guess you will have no problem compiling teeworlds the "Matricks" way.

I have looked on Matricks way again and it worked yikes I did something wrong
But now, I have a last question:
I have compiled TeeWorlds successfully, but what files and folders I have to publish? Only server, teeworlds.exe , license, readme and data folder?

Told you to do it matricks way -.-

Build bam server_release for a server mod.
bam release for a client mod

just provide teeworlds.exe for client and teeworlds_srv.exe for server!

khubajsn: dunno if it's relevant anymore but there's a scripts directory where you can access make_release.py. This will make a release of the compiled sources if I understand it correctly.

For instance, to make a release of the compiled 0.5.1 sources, simply type "scripts\make_release.py 0.5.1 win32" for windows and you'll get a zip with everything needed in the base dir.

I haven't really digged into the workings of all scripts and bam scripts but it looks like it works that way. Not sure if it's supposed to be called directly or from another script.

edit: seems it's used by build.py. But it should work separately anyway.

Or do you need both?

You don't need C#. You need to install Visual C++. I just had problem wink

I think everything is left the same. Only now use bam-0.4.0
The older version won't work.
