Topic: Sever Takeovers

Many times I would be kicked, because a group, or just 2 people wanted the sever all to themselves.

Like they wanted a 1 on 1, a 2 on 2, a group meeting (Even though it's not there sever). Or a new one is 3 people out of a 4 people sever (the zomb sever), just stood there and did nothing. Of coarse I can't kick them because I need at lest two others to agree with me. And all of them did nothing... but they were moving so I knew they were just screwing with me, and I can't play since they also need to vote yes for the sever to restart... I'm not sure what can be none about the issue. But I thought it would be good If I brought it to your attention.

Voting is this... the main part of the players wins... if you are the only one, you can't do nothing...
and also the teeworlds dev can't do nothing...

If you want to take-over a server, just enter with all your clan tongue

... I don't want to take over a sever. I want people to stop taking over other people's severs.

One alternative is to change the vote system. Instead of requiring over half of the total votes in the server, there should just be more of one vote than the other. This way, nubs who don't know how to vote or don't want to just be be annoying can't affect the votes. This also makes it easier to kick AFK players. However, nothing can change tees taking over servers that aren't theirs. I can't think of anything for that.

Although this is a genuine problem it seems unlikely that the solution can come from the developers. The best thing you can do is join some of the better servers, with core players who respect those that respect them. Another options would be to host your own server, giving you total control over those that join.

Changing the vote system would have some effect, but the childish attention-gainers will simply adapt and find some other way to harass and disturb. The only permanent (and unfortunately impossible) solution would be game wide bans, which would clean the community of these types for once and for all.

server owners can install simple keyloggers that track if they input or not if not the serer can kick them. im testing solutions at the moment.

its something that once you joined a server starts tracking your keyboard by installing a web cookie per ip adress its legal as most websites use similar cookies to track if youve opened another website.
