Topic: [SKINS] Hooker's collection of the most Tee-ish skins!

Hello everybody,

I just thought about collecting all the skins that really fit the world of the Tees in just one thread.
There are many nice skins... but when you try them ingame, it kinda sucks, because it looks so strange. yikes

The here listed skins are very well fitting skins. You can accept this as an "award"!

So, what is Tee-ish?
This question is a hard one... maybe. Look at the standard skins... Black eyes, well made outlines, cute and an allrounder-look.

=> It's not based on a game or a movie, it's just made for Teeworlds and it's a TEE. Not a machine, not a monster, it's a

TEE... :3

yeah you re right its very hard to find a really teeish skin big_smile every guy tries to make something that looks cool and not so pussy like like the teeish skins.. <--- this is not my opinion!

We already have "military" tee's. wink

To the panda...
The skin has to support the features the game is offering. For example if you double jump, your feet get a bit darker after the second jump.
If the feet are just black, you can't see it.

I know that a panda is black, but you can also use a more grey-ish colour and the outlines will help you to see the double jumps well.
It's like at cartoons. Never use a real black color, because of the outlines.

Tee's don't have noses. Look at the coala. Coala's are similiar to panda's (ok, bad example) and you can use the coala to orient yourself!

Yeah, the game is not in the final stage and it's not clear how the skins will may look, but I'm also open for changes which would make the game more fun. Those changes will have to fit to the other tee's, of course. So it's not that nice if all the tee's have black eyes and your skin has black eye's with a reflexion.

My requests to you:

- Change the eye's to black ones.
- Change the color of the feet, so the double-jumps are visible
- Delete the nose

... if your changes will be clean, I will take you into the list, because we definitly need a panda. wink

@ Panda skin, i agree on the eyes and feet, but the nose is what defines this tee it would look too empty.

BTW it looks like redstripe and twinbop has noses too.

To your skin, happy. It's just a very well made skin... It's like a little barbarian or a Tarzan or even a "Jason" from "Friday The 13." (It seems like the tee in your avatar is using a machete. big_smile)
It fits to the tilesets of Teeworlds and it's just a fu**ing tee. smile

Although it's nice to see this category of skins grouped together, the more stronger people put the emphasis on "teeish", the more limited designers creativity can become.

The criteria by which skins of any kind are suppose to be judged is still overall quality. That is what makes people actually use or not use the skin ingame. Wether it should have a nice outline or resemble a robot is just a matter of taste and should not be mixed up with quality.

But as has been said, nice to see these classics grouped in one post.

Nope, collection goes on.

Bob, if you can, change the eye's to black ones or to standard. As long as I dont see skins with different eye's in the original client, I won't accept any whie or red eye's.

Eyes with red dots or something like that are even worse.
