Topic: Patch Problem

Hey dudes.
I've got an Problem. I follow everything with the patch-utils. i unpack them in System32.
Then i go in CMD.
I write patch -p1 < test.patch
Then a new window opened after i clicked on allow(Windows Vista).
But  i waited 30 minutes and nothing happens.
The Patch.exe window was/is empty.

Actually you can patch like this only on Linux (perhaps Mac, i don't know).
To patch on windows, you must donwload an app like Tortoise SVN or something else (I know only this one, which I use).

no buffer is wrong... just run the cmd as administrator and it should work ^^

well nvm... tortoisesvn is better anyways.... on this point buffer is right smile

No it doesnt worked for me i tried alredy before u posted it.

AND:
Sushi you now wich patch i have now. That one that you want too. tongue

It worked with tortoise.

Janschi, your command is right and works on Windows, too.

Note that the gnuwin32 patch-utils do NOT support UNIX line-endings (\n) (for some reason).

You first need to convert the file into Windows line-endings (\r \n). You can do this with an advanced text-editor for example.
