I'm proud to announce ...

This is a project we've (the regular TeeTV dudes) worked on for a while: as the name suggests, it's a news site about Teeworlds. What makes this different from other similar projects is that we are multilingual. Yeah, that's right. All our content is at the moment published in English, German and Russian. Be warned that not everything on the site is translated yet, we are slowly working on translating more and more parts, but everything needed should be translated.


One of the good things with multiple languages is that we have so much more news for you. We will keep you constantly updated with the latest news. Two news/week is not good enough for us.


If you are interested in translating for your own mother tongue, just use the contact form.


We are also looking for people who are well integrated in communities we don't know much about for writing news about the parts of Teeworlds we don't know anything about. Currently, people who are well informed about tournaments, clans and clanwars for instagib would be great, but people who are members of more closed communities etc. are as interesting. Just use the contact form on the site if you feel there is something you can contribute.


No more browsing through the unordered pile of threads we know as Community news, just subscribe to our RSS feed and you will get instant notices of tournaments, clanwar results, content releases (gfx, maps etc.) and nice articles.

We will not be highlighting single map releases, because that's simply not relevant (on a side note, we're(TeeTV crew) working on a separated project for mappers, but that's in the future). We're thinking about doing weekly summaries of maps released over week spans with reviews and similar, though.

A better way to give your map detailed attention would be to post in on the TeeWiki. Look for the lost map as an example.

After all, news will be replaced over time, while an encyclopedia lasts a lifetime.

Just wanted to show you guys a new interview about the FunWar league that went up on Teenews today. German and Russian translations aren't done yet, but make sure to check it out. smile

Project seems to be dead, last news added month ago, and there were lots of interesing events. Anyone will try to do something with it? It was really cool.

Should have done this post earlier, but well, let's do it now:

IRL caught up with us, mainly. The idea with Teenews from the beginning was to get interested people helping with news, and let our (me, Golvmopp) task be to check everything and make it published. Sadly there wasn't enough help coming in, so when school was on the final stretch, neither of us had time to write news ourselves, so the project slowly died. I'm really willing to start this again, and everything is ready to start again, but then we'd need good contributors who can actively write, because we two haven't got the time to write everyday, but if there are people who can help, we promise to find the time to read through and publish posts.

If you want, I can help Teenews. Only you have to say is what I should write about. Clanmembers, clannews, servers, new versions, or what?
