Strange graphic/lag problem

Hi i downloaded this game today and it was running as smooth as a baby butt. Then i decided to record some by using different recording programs like fraps, camtasia and xfire.

After about an hour of recording back and forth trying out different resolutions and qualities i started the game and it was lagging like mad. Even the loading screen was lagging.

I deleted it and downloaded it again but same problem. I went to c:\doc...\application data\teeworld and deleted that folder aswell. Anyone has any suggestions?

It was a great game and i really want to play it, please help me out!
