Topic: [PROJECT] The great TeeCity project

If you play TeeWorlds often and you aren't playing on some favourite servers, you could see the TeeCity maps. These are maps without flags and without killing, just for fun, chatting and to meet tee-friends.
I like those maps and I want to make a new one, but with good graphics and effects (nothing against exemptions). So, with this I am creating a TeeCity project. I need some good graphics makers for tiles and I need all TeeWorlds community for ideas and suggestions. I have sketched some rooms - them are on image bellow. I hope you understand me and the image. Thanks for all help you'll give.

Ok uhm... Usually I HATE Teecity maps.
They are ugly and have got many bugs, but I could make the first good one with you (and your team?).
Except it's like a maze with a roof all over the map..

Well the Developers would definitly not support this XD

A City with 16 ppl chatting at once is kinda confusing...
U probably cant do this but some feature like : "u can just read the text of players near u" would be good for this...
And yeah... a city with 16 ppl is kinda lame XD

Thank you all for replies. With the "you can see chat of players which are standing near you" I say no - what about this: I will ask my friend where is he and he will not can read it... Server can be only 12 players and its good
@iTod You have been added to the TeeCity project team. Your suggestions and ideas are happily accepted - just post them here

I also dont like the TeeCity maps because everybody make them with race or nrace tileset - thats (sorry) no work - with the better tileset it will be much work but also much better map
Yeah, and about the german teecity project - there are lots of posts but I didnt find any important post with created stuff link there

Lol... for 0.6 something like a real city... registered players can have an appartment desinged with their own tiles...
To go into an appartment u need to be invited and the u can download the appartment XD
Like in a real city...

If someone had the balls and the time to do something like this, you could make a RPG-game out of it with the bots of LordSkelethom.

It can turn into a "storymode" online.

So, just say them here iTod.
But my opinion is the hookers idea is very, very hard to make...
I dont think someone will make a mod with your idea

I am making a map called TeeCity2 and i will edit the Hprace mod to look like the teecity mod. (Don't get your hopes up, i wont add anything new).

EDIT:

IDEAS:
- No extra stuff needs to be added, a passport could be a grenade launcher, so when you get the launcher you can fire yourself to another island.
- In maps, we can add elevators, so we use the racemod upwards arrow tiles to take us up to the next floor.
- Also, we can make a little space place. So we make a really high up ledge with random stuff on it.
- One question...What kind of tileset would we need for maps like this?

Elevators ! Yeah, its excellent idea. I think we can need new tileset maked only for TeeCity. I currently have only some ideas, so... You can post your ideas about tileset here. By the way, I dont want to use standart RACE or NRACE or HRACE or how is it named tileset. Its no work with it. You just add grey tile. Its like maps with grass_main without the grass, only brown tile -.-

i have played the other tee city maps but some of them are too big  and most rooms  are kind of pointless.

is there a way to change this bye making a mod? like you could ask the tee strike leader to make 32 players allowed. and ask the water mod person to make better looking doors for tee city so you can open/close doors.

[go on surgery room and auto change skin?]

and animation. animation is what makes the party room in the other tee citys so much fun

interaction with hammer and pistol and laser and shotgun [screaming tees + recoil]

but no killing

with a nice layout for good hooking and grenade jumps

[ hmm ] thats alot of suggestions

just suggestions.... think about it

EDIT: in tee life there was a game room with hammer battle [king of the hill] and hook battle maybe you could add that

EDIT: i can help with making signs and tiles but someone else will have to align them. im not so good at that and i dont use inkscape
