lol not very similar except the super mario graphics

Yes besides the non-realistic graphics and double jump feature it doesn't seem to have much more in common. And it certainly doesn't appeal anywhere near the level Teeworlds does.

As far as I can tell there have been no similar games that actually incorporated all of the unique features of Teeworlds.

That one is actually quite nice, kinda combos SSBM with very tee-like creatures. Some of them would make very good skins and these powerups are also interesting. Didn't there exist a SSBM mod at some point?
