Topic: [Request] CTB

This Mod is called Capture the Bot XD

In the middle of the Map spawns a bot with ninja skin - not moving.
Each team trys to hook the Bot to their own Base to drag him into spikes and score.

Players have Laserguns and if a player shoots another that player turns into a Ninja not beeing able to move like in Freeze MOD (-> other thread). Frozen players die in 3-5 seconds and respawn then in their Base. The frozen players are there to distract both teams by finding the Bot.

The problem is that the Bot needs a colour (since their are teams). If possible the Bot is black in the first round.
if he cant be black the Bot gets a colour at Random in the first round -  if hes thrown into spikes he gets colour of last point making team.

I also got another Idea for this Mod but its probably not possible...

Before a team can drag a Bot into spikes they need to get him into some other spikes - making him get that teams colour and running to the other side until he reaches some line close to the middle. That would make it harder to capture him ( because of running) and the Bot coulors are kinda fixed.

Well as I said - this is probably not possible...

Here is how a map should look:

Si for spikes C for colour spikes Sa for spawn B for Botspawn _ for ground:

Everything would be possible, but when i think i would be a player i would prefer normal ctf :S

Imo mods shouldnt be complicated and kept simple and playerfriendly...
Though a nice idea and definitely would be a nice challenge for mod makers smile

Why don't you try to learn coding and make the mods by urself.
As you have enough ideas, you can start with simple things and improve much wink

Hmmm... ok.
I got a question:
Is it possible to make tiles that work like unhookable tiles just that u can shoot through them?

Maybe got another MOD idea XD

Im just too stupid to change maps but how can you not host a server?

anyways. i dont want to start a new thread so ill post it here.
the mod should be one flag in the centre of the stage and both teams respawn in their zones. but when a team captures the 1 flag in the center, they have to bring it to the other team's flag zone and wait for 5 seconds in the zone

how about that?

and about your bot mod. if anyone does make it. make sure the map is nice and small. so its more hectic

Ummmm... other CTB idea (needs unshootable tiles):

Teams spawn on each side of a stripe with normal tiles, above this map is a stripe with unshootable tiles.
The bot spawns over the players in the middle of the Map.
All players have laser and grenade launcher. Laser works instagib to other players, launcher just pushes away and deals no dmg.
If a Player shoots the Bot with Laser (through unshootable tiles) the Bot starts slowly walking into that players Base direction. If he gets 1 more shot he will run faster (there are just to steps of speed). If u shoot the Bot with grenade launcher he wont get pushed away but he will jump. At the End of the Bot stripe are spikes - u need to make the Bot walk in there to score.
If the Bot walks into 1 direction and some 1 of the enemy team shoots him (with laser or grenade) he will stop so every team can make him walk again. If the Bot gets close to a base the other team can kill him with Laser which makes the Bot spawn at his Point (If the Bot is not close to the enemy base the Bot will just stop if u shoot him).
Players should have shorter laser than normal so killing the Bot is not that easy.

Here is how a Map should look:

In the Bot stripe should be some blocks he needs to jump over so he wont walk all the way if no 1 guards him - at a block he just keeps the speed but cant go 1. Maybe on each side 1 or 2 kill tiles the Bot woul run straight into if u dont make him jump over.... Just some stuff like that.

Sorry for the Map, its not very clear what i mean... just ask me if u dont understand

Well got a better idea than in my last comment....
Basically the same like before but if u laser the Bot he starts running into the enemy base and u have to get the Bot into the enemys spikes^^ Would make defending against capture more logic... and also its harder to score smile

I make a Mp but just the left half because drawing half of a Map is easier... just use a Mirror XD

the points (.......) in the Map mean blocks in the Bot stripe the Bot has to jump over (by grenade launcher).
The player stripe should have some kind of hills and holes.... just the players have some area to fight ^^

So i a Bot runs close to a team base and jumped over all blocks and so on.... and hes close to score the defending team can stop him by shooting -> he wont run further. And with the kill tile they dont have to make the bot go the whole way back.... they just make him run of some stairs straight into the kill tile which makes him respawn in the middle. But there should just be 1 kill tile for real last second rescues...
