Topic: Client dropped because of.. The same version?

Hiho,

I just looked onto the server window and saw this:

Yeah. I know I should use 0.5.1 but the two versions are.. Similar except the combination after the versions..
It's not really nessecary, but I would just like to know why this appeared, it just doesn't look really normal to me..

The version number "0.5" is just some text which can be changed easily. The hash (the combination of numbers and letters) is the actual version and is generated when compiling teeworlds. Seems like the droped client modified it's client and it's version isn't compatible now.

ya that happens when i try to get into the teeshield mod b/c the mod doesnt support mac yet
