hey it didn`t found anythink in the forum so i ask in this theard.
What do you think about a Teeworlds Portabel version?
Ok Teewords could be easilie copied to an USB-Stick and works
but you always leave your Profile e.g. User Name on the working PC or?
So could it be possible to save this files into an subordinate folder.

i think you understand it wrong.
what i mean is
here are some problems:
-e.g. i go into a internet cafe and will play teeworlds the "Config Directory" will be saved on the
internet coffee pc. So if anybody have the same idea to play on the same PC Teeworlds he had to
change the name or he don`t know that he plays with an other game name.
-The next problem are the maps, because you had to load all the maps newly.
-some internet cafe`s don`t allow you to install anything or create a new folder
it is just the same with Firefox Portable usw.

That means as well not executing.
What can be done is creating a fork that uses the "User Data" folders on the own Teeworlds folder. It should be easy just doirng Control + R.

NOT a good idea, unless you turn up your Nintendo Dual Screen in middle of class while the teacher explains.*sigh* Hateful comparsions.
Back on the folders, the idea is them being pre-packaged. As for dowloading maps, there should be no problem - unless you can't plain execute anything out of a pen-drive;)
I guess I'll take up a look on the source *gets ready for screaming as when was 5 years old* to see how hard should be changing the folders.
I am actually making this now, as we speak. Using thinstall...I am beta testing it on a few different computers. I will, however, only be able to provide windows binaries, so if you use a mac or smthng else, then do it yourself.
I should be done by the end of next week.

Seems kinda unnecessary to make it for other OSes..
This patch saves all settings/maps/etc in a folder called "settings", inside the Teeworlds folder. I do not recommend you to try this if you don't know what you're doing.

Changing a _snpintf directory as '.'Required to be done: A working, rested brain. ^ ^;
It has been tested on a directly plugged-in SD card, on several folders. A pen drive should not
be different.Requeriments:
#Anything Teeworlds requires by itself to run.
#9 or so megabytes (no skins/gfx mods included in the package).
#A portable, plug-able device (I do not recommend CD's if you plan on playing custom maps).
#The computer should let you write on the plugged device(if you do play custom maps).Stripped from fork:
#Teeworlds Server(You can't even crete a new folder, which use has hosting a server?).
#Map editor hasn't been tested.
#Windows precompilation.#Added stuff:
#system.c added in the package. Pretty much all the modified source.

Now, I wonder. In an era where pen drives are 512mb at least, wouldn't it be cool to compile it for DSL, and putting DSL also on the pen drive?
