Topic: Server doesn't change maps

My server ignores maprotate and runs only in dm1.
The Motd is not shown on server-start.

my server config:

sv_maprotation dm8 dmcolon dm9 mdm1 dm1

You have to create an extra config (not settings.cfg) for your server which have to be in teeworlds folder (not config folder)

Thanks for your answer!

I have an extra Config called Server_Config.cfg in the Teeworlds folder.
But.... The Problem is no more a Problem. Is it possible, that 6 maps are too much? I put only 4 maps in sv_maprotation and now it works.

Why isn't it possible to put 6 maps in sv_maprotation ?

And why is the Motd not shown?

I hope you can understand me ^^

My server works with 4 maps, but with 6 maps it doesn't work. Why?

And the Motd doesn't work, too.

Edit: OOOOPS that's --> (not hello --> helo) a spelling mistake for example, isn't it?  BAAAADDDD english xD

I checked it really often. I think i had no spelling mistake..... I'll try it again ^^

But.. 6 maps should be no problem, right?

Uhm yeah the problem with the motd.
I've seen many servers that don't show it on startup. Mine is too, so I think it's a new "feature" that came with 0.5.0.
I mean you can see it in the Server Info Tab ingame. Don't worry, everyone can read it.

Oh.... yes.... soon can be a very long time.... :-D

Well, the server works with or without Motd, so.... it's not important to have a motd when you're playing ^^


I renamed 2 maps (mdm1 --> m1/ dmcolon --> colon) and added ctf1.

I don't know why, but now it works ^^

Maybe the server is not able to "read" a too long sv_maprotation?
