Topic: Problem with mouse in version 0.5.0

First sorry for my bad English, but i try.

I have a problem with the mouse speed in Teeworlds 0.5.0, it's very slow also if i set the mouse speed to max value.
Another thing, the pointer of my mouse haven't a linear movement.

-In the 0.4.3 version my mouse work very good.

I hope that you have some ideas.

another prob with the mouse:
mouse4 (or higher -> mouse5, ...) doesn't work sad

Same problem here (Windows version)!
Playing is a real pain now. The mouse movement is non-linear.
And in 0.4.3, I put the Laser on Mouse4, which doesn't work any more.

waiting 4 teeworlds 0.5.1 you can use GlovePie (download it big_smile) to simulate a key for binding Mouse3 & Mouse4 or other
you can use this code:

keyboard.V=mouse.Button4
keyboard.B=mouse.Button5

try it using V and B on teeworlds ^^

Peoples, i was ask for non-linear movement, not mouse buttons doesn't work for my binds. For the buttons in forum are so much topic.

Anyone have an idea for non-linear movement ?

In this time i play again in 0.4.3 and for me is the same but i think that after 1 month i need to play in 0.5.0 or later because all the servers will be in this version.

Ah, i forgot, i use Linux-Ubuntu-8.04 and i have the same problem also if i compile the game from the source code.

you can use always glovepie... if you learn his scripting code you can setup mouse movements really fast ^^

(i know this is a bug, but there are no solution until 0.5.1, so...)

My idea would be to make the crosshair just a traditional cursor, like in your operating system. That way, every player can change the way his crosshair moves for himself, and it means less work for the developers.

i have the non-linear movement problem too , when i play at max speed and dinamism cursor gets blocked (cant move it obilc ) it moves only verticaly and horizontaly  its really anoing and i cant play this way sad please fix it fast . ( mouse : logithch mx518 )

Hi all,

i eas find the situation when i have this problem, normally i play NOT fullscreen and i have this problem, if i play in Fullscreen i haven't the problem.

But if i play and in the same time appear a system message (For sample) i loose the mouse and appear a black-arrow like pointer, but the yellow arrow is bloched and i cannot play.

i repeat, i have Linux-Ubuntu-8.04-i386.
