Topic: [MAPS]HRaces 0.6.0+ (are back!)
I am currently working on updating all the maps because some are very old versions. 1, 2, 3, and 4 are up and running... 5, 6, and 7 are still in transition.
Well obviously my guesses as to when I'd have these up were wrong. I've had a bit of problems at the moment concerning college work in general. Obviously that comes first so when I have a bit of a breather, I'll let you know.

They’re back!
After tediously looking through my current, old, and very old computers’ hard drives, I am pleased to say I have found all of the HRaces files! (some much older than the others) Dat’s rite… ALL OF THEM!
As some of you may already know, the first produced HRaces are quite old in the technological sense, so, it was very hard to locate them and some were even made before RACE was invented or hook-tiles or kill-tiles were official—way back in the ‘late’ 2008s, when I first conceived HRace1. I hope you’ll enjoy these relics that, in many ways, paved the way to current racing as we know it.
I will be providing two versions for all the maps and three versions for those without teleports: a kill-tile version, a more up-to-date, tele-checkpoint version, ( for the weak of heart ) and an extremely basic CTF-race version (for those that want to go retro!). CTF-race uses CTF as the basis but structures it as a race—this was how the original races worked before the race modification was born.
Because checkpoint versions are more tedious to create, they will be coming later than kill-tile versions. The CTF-race are coming last since those will require a complete, transition overhaul. I may edit them further, as in the layout, but for now I’m keeping them as original as possible, besides minor edits in transition from archaic to current and darkening up the background. (the old, pure white B.G. hurt the eyes so I changed it)
HRace maps are ‘noob friendly’ in the since that there are helpful comments all along the path for those new to racing. In fact, the "H" in HRace means "Helpful". It originally meant "Hover" (because of the hammer flying) but "helpful" seemed more relevant so I changed it.
Don't be fooled; just because these maps have helpful hits doesn't necessarily mean they're easy, so newbies best read the comments or die trying. Lastly there are many different and creative obstacles along the path and places to perform the famous hammer fly. Take it slow and play it safe, especially if you’re dealing with the original versions with kill-tiles!
If you like my tile-set in my maps, then click here! The oldest tile-sets I do not have anymore but anyone who can extract it from my maps, I give him permission; however, please give me credit as the original creator. Gracias.
Sever-hosters should note these server settings:
Player collision and infinite ammo must be ON but rocket jump damage should be OFF in all of the maps because of various reasons, otherwise players cannot finish the maps!
For more information on RACE sever settings, click here. For DDRace, click here.
In CTF-race, this information is irreverent. CTF-race sever settings will be typed when those maps come out.

Those little green and purple specks on the map are the start and end areas. The racing paths in 1, 2, 3, and 4 can be observed by tracking the start to the end since there are no teleports.

Be sure to comment and please report any grammatical, mathematical (in some maps only), or layout bugs in the maps. I have dyslexia so it's very probable that there are grammatical errors in the helping text.
And please… give credit and don't plagiarize or edit my works without permission—I want the gaming community to know what real HRaceing is.
