Topic: Make Race server on linux

Hello i will make a race server (run_dude)

I dont have problems but when i start und linux root the server and i will play on it i see the server is 0.4.2 and when i close putty server go down.

what i must do and can you me give the new race files 4 linux?

well, of course, if you close putty you're connection to the server is terminated, and you log off. because of that all procceses started by the user are terminated. A solution for your problem would be nohup. search for it in goggle or read the man pages and you will find more detailed information about it. (you could have searched in this forum here, too, as there is already a thread discussing this problem)

for the race files, use the seach function wink

Another solution could be to run the server in "screen". A very handy thing that lets you detach a terminal and let it float around until you need it. Google can tell you more wink

ok thats the first problem i try next time to start the server with a other command smile

and now can you me pls tell where i get the race_dude files LINUX für the 0.4.3?
