Topic: Unable to see my own server (I know it works though)
Hi guys, apologies if this has already been covered. I did search before I started this, but I couldn't find anything that helped.
I'm trying to start a server on TeeWorlds so me and a few friends can have a game on our own server. (We're an antisocial bunch, you see. )
They can see it, but I can't.
I've grabbed the sample DeathMatch settings from the Wiki page, and edited the server name and added a password setting. I've had one of my friends connect to the server, and I've seen the server console responding with what he's doing (picking up items and such)
However, when I load up TeeWars, I can't see my own server. I've got it set to show only DeathMatch games, I've left "Compatible versions" ticked, and I've even searched for the name of the server, but it just doesn't show up for me.
I've made sure I've got the port forwarding set up properly, and the server console window is reporting the following:
refreshing master server addresses
refreshing ip addresses
saving addresses
fetching server counts
chosen "master1.teeworlds.com" as master, sending heartbeats
no firewall/nat problems detected
server registered
It's just done the same, but with "master4.teeworlds.com" instead, and I still can't find it.
Am I doing anything wrong?
