Topic: Teeworlds - Let's get 3D

Hi there,
I really love playing Teeworlds so I thought I bring it into 3D Space. Not what you may think now tongue

I am just modelling ctf2 in a 3D-Modelling program, i dont know if I will ever finish this but I'd like to share my progress with you.
Here is what I've got so far:

As you can see I didnt do much so far, I just built the blocks in 3D. The little spheres are as big as the Tees are in the game. Oh, and I created the flags^^

Tell me what you think.

Of course I will add more details, I just started to work on this smile

The flags are where they have to be in this level, you just dont see them so good from so far away. Closer pics will follow smile

What do you mean by "would be nice to see how you model"? I am using Cinema 4D if that helps you smile

I think it's a great idea. smile

But I think it is way to hard for the devs to make it offical, becaues any new tile sets, made by any one, would have to be in 3D.
And I can't speek for every one, but I don't think much of us have 3D commputer programs.

But still a nice idea. big_smile

@Everyone who wants the game to be in 3D:
I think if TW would be 3D it would be worse than now, but I love Fanarts in 3D so I thought I make my own^^

I dont like it. I like TeeWorlds as 2D game. I havent got good computer and TW works now. TW in 3D mode will be larger on HDD and you will must better computer.

ok, the 3d thing looks cool and as it's just for watching it it's fine. but pleeeeease teetow, matricks and the other devs. keep teeworlds 2d. I hate 3d games. big_smile

Did you mean "it won't be better than it is now" instead of "it would be worse than it is now"? lol lol

He has already said it's just artwork. Teeworlds won't be in 3D. The Teeworlds spirit is and will be in 2D.
