Topic: [HELP] How to install patches?

I'm sorry if there is already an exzisting topic but i just didn't find it. I'm just asking for sum help cuz i herd that you guys answer fast smile. Now i do evereything to patch my server with the killing spree & ctf massage patches but the rcon console says: no such command "patch"... Please help!!! I promise if evereything goes acording to plan the beer's on me big_smile.

OPERATING SYSTEM: WINDOWS

PS: Excuse me for my bad English but I'm still learning it smile I'm a Bulgarian.

if you are trying to run "patch -p1 < patchfile" ingame...
you are wrong.

you have to do it on cmd, and you need patchutils

check out these maps: infiltrate - choco - dustycloud

If you mean  patch files by patchutils i have them, but noting again sad Please if someone can tell me how it's done step by step i will be very thankful.

in wich cfg i must copy  that                patch -p1 < patchfile
can somebody give me the patch ultis?

lol there is nothing with patches xD

so at first download this: patch.zip
than extract the 2 files in the archiv to C:\Windows\system32

so now u can apply patches. therefore u have to put the patch into the teeworlds src folder.
Than just open your cmd (start--->run--->type "cmd"). Switch to the teeworlds src folder in cmd and than type there "patch -p1 < patchfile"

well the readme file into that zip is in german i think. So to install that shouldnt be a problem.
i guess u dont know what to do at this point: start--->run--->type "cmd"... u can just press windows key + R and there is the window in witch u must type "cmd" to open the commandline!

but if u dont know this u dont know how to get into teeworlds folder there, too?! xD


btw.... if u dont meet me in-game u can join one of our duZi race servers... there is my "teeworlds ICQ" in server info. U can add me than wink

i cant get to my src folder on cmd it just says its not recognized as an operable program or batch file how do i get round this?

i can get to the directory but the system says it can't find the file specified
