now the other things:

At first i would mention the server demo recording.
If i record a demo with the server (yes server not client... with client everything works great) the file isnt saved in the demos folder. It saved in the config folder (one folder before the demos folder). The ".demo" is missing expect u type it if u start the recording. Anyways... I if i copy the recorded demo into the demo folder and start the game than the demo is in the list in game but if i press the play button the game crashes.
i dunno if its a bug or if u shouldnt record demos with the server but the cmd works in rcon so u should be able to play it after recording or not? And it should be placed in the right folder, too i think. wink

And if u want to write a longer text in chat u cant see the test if u begin the 3rd line.

I would suggest to chage the code so that u cant write more than 2 lines. I think its better than scrolling cuz the game is no chat wink


At last thing: The scoreboard pops up if i minimized the game with alt+tab and maximize the game again. The scoreboard stays in screen till i press tab.
I guess its cuz i press tab while pressing alt+tab xD. Anyways it should be closed by self wink
Same thing if i press tab and at the same time the chat button... than the score board stays too even i finished the text wink

I´m using windows xp and i have noticed that in version 0.5.0 rev1683 the map download funktion doesnt work but in 0.5.0 rev1672 it worked.

I duuno if someone allready realized it but there are a strage bug with hook and pistol. oO

If an tee stands anywhere in the map and another tee hook it from right the which is hooking moves slowly to the standing tee but if the the standing tee is hooked from left the hooking tee just stands oO
It should move from left, too (actio=reactio wink ).
Same thing with pistol but i forget if it was from right or left but if u shoot a standing tee with pistol it moves from one site and it doesnt from the other. oO

I guess it affects the movement a lill bit wink

1. This is fixed in 0.5.0.
2. This is nothing we'll fix for 0.5.0 since it's not very important, just move your screen and be happy smile

hook is working now...

and another thing is that the demo recording have some problems with mapchanges (client & server). Only one map is shown and well... it looks strange if it doesnt crash xD
the demo recording shouldnt be possible in menu.

the feets of the tee isnt reseted after walking around. looks strange too smile

The gun and shotgun moving tee is disabled on purpose.

Tickets are added for the demo recording issues.

Ticket added for the walking animation.

0.5 :
- regression from 0.4 : you can't use "enter" to join a server
- editor : I don't see the maps that I added in /editor/maps, but if I type the name of the map I can open it
- editor : If I want to save a map (save as), I see the maps that are in my download map folder but all the maps in /editor/maps are invisibles. Again if I type the name of a map (that is in /editor/maps), I can save it.

after exiting watching a demo, i get a box "kicked by console"

steps to reproduce:

get in a game
get kicked
watch a demo through the UI
while watching the demo, press the exit button

doesn't happen when i join any game before watching a demo

1. This wont be fixed for 0.5.0, maybe 0.5.1 or something (since it's kinda not important), unsure when though.
2. and 3. There is no /editor/maps folder.
3. When saving it only reads the maps-folder located in the personal data folder. This is just to know where it should save.

I've got 2 bugs:

1. Sometimes, when a server changes its map or end it's round, i can't see the name and the skin of a certain tee. The skin turn as the first (limekitty) and a tee appears without name (all come back to normal when re-entering on the server).

2. When using Server Search, sometimes the letters get scrambled, but not by typing error.

we was testing the newest rev of tw and the spectator bug is back xD
if u change to spec a player can kill the spec... its like shooting to an invisible enemy oO
and a tee of the spec spawns anywhere in the map and its controlable. Well it also can hook xD

looks very funny but can be anoying in e.g. 1on1 if there is a spec blocking the shots ^^

i recorded a demo: klick here

there is all shown but it could take a while till u saw really all xD


Redix mentioned that it is cut of the auto respawn after 3 sec. the "spec tee" only respawns after that 3 sec.

Dunno if it's been reported/fixed yet, but sometimes when you single click a server on the browser you join it as if you were double-clicking it. Kinda annoying.

Hello, first post here, great game!

However, there is a graphical glitch for me when I play. I started teeworlds-server and then teeworlds, made no changes to anything but the fullscreen setting. I joined my server and this is how it looks when I am anywhere but the top left portion of the map:

I assume this is the way it's supposed to look.

This bug is fixed in 0.5.0 (there's a setting called gfx_noclip).
This problem appears with bad graphic cards.
