Topic: I cant download maps...

Since a lot i cant download 200k+ maps, when im downloading it just stops.i have to try to download like 100 times befeore i have any chance to download map,

Is it becouse of the high ping ?

i happens with me too but only with maps with more than 700kb and i only have to restard the download once

and i use the same OS
and i am from Brazil(same ping that argentina has)

I sometimes have this problem, too.
But i have a answer for it:

If i stops to download, retry it 2 times. If it still doesnt work, connect to an another server, wait ca. 5 minutes, and then try. It ever works...

The downloader is too buggy. Is there some kind of patch?

I'm having these problems as well.
Haven't looked if there's something about it in the bugtracking system though.
If not, I guess it would be helpful with some relevant information on how the bug manifests.

The automatic map downloader was done in a hassle. An improved and bugfree version comes soon. Oh and i cant imagine why u guys play on european servers though u live billion miles away from the server location. Playin at that high ping is senseless...
