Hi there, can somebody tell me a quick and easy way on how to host an offline server in order to test my map (alone)? My computer isnt connected to the internet and i really apologize for asking this here, but please take in consideration that im posting this from my mobile phone and cant really use search function right now. I thank u in advance for detailed easy instructions and greet all my fans out there! Im back soon big_smile

FAQ
Q: How do I setup a LAN server?

Set sv_register to 0. This will make sure that it doesn't show up on the internet tab.

Many thanks landil, it works. I tried the same with sv_sendheartbeats 0 but it seems this command has been replaced with register 0. I appreciate your help, now i can finish dm3 and ctf6. Hmmm.. Creating official maps makes me very tired, i should get some sleep here..
Btw.: can somebody code me some patch file for AI-bots? Testing maps alone is boring. Until today plz kthxbai.

Wow thanks for feedback guys, it encourages me to make even more of them. I suggest to delete most of the current stock maps and put in mine instead to reduce filesize. And yes rafaolisan, the maps are perfect just like me of course. I am already thinkin bout the new shiny ctf2 and dm1. This map making is very time consuming,therefore Donations r welcome. Greets

Just to make clear for those who don't troll around here regularly: Captain AMN does not have any real power in these matters. He is just fooling around.
