Topic: [Solved]

Hello,

I'm running Fedora 9 and I have a Freebox (I'm French).
The 8303 UDP port is open in the Freebox router *and* in the Fedora firewall.
When I start the Teeworlds server, the messages in the terminal are :

Terminal wrote:

[48b54d3d][register]: no firewall/nat problems detected
[48b54d3d][register]: server registered

So it says that no firewall or nat problems were encountered, moreover the server is registered.
*But* my server does not appear in the “Internet” server list, only in the “LAN” one. But I did add the line “sv_register 1”!

What to do?

Re: [Solved]

The problem is probably that your router don't support internal connections to the external ip. Other players should see it on the "Internet"-tab however, so it works perfectly.

Re: [Solved]

Open port 8303 (Default port otherwise change in your settings.cfg) on your router.
if you have done this, do try adding the line "sv_port 8303" to your server setings, OR change those digits on both the server con fig and the router.

[EDIT] i just read the first part of your message, and therefore you only need to worry about Changing the digits on both the server con fig and the router.

[EDIT] Or that.

Re: [Solved]

i've got the same problem. You can connect to your own server by connecting to localhost:8303

Somerunce explained the reason, but it works perfectly indeed.

Antoine de Saint Exupéry: It seems that perfection is reached not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.
Besides -  I am the gfx guy!

Re,

You were right, I told my friend to join the server, and he could!

Thanks for your answers.
