Topic: [MAP] Hirule's Castle

Hello people.
Above all, sorry for my English, well ... one can not expect much Google's Translator.

Well, little thing. Here you have the map based on the game Super Smash Bros. Melee of the Game cube. Specifically the map of Zelda (Hyrule's Castle)

The map is very simple because it is the first time I have one, when you know more as well as what the publisher will be working a little more.

Another thing, to play 100% at this map will have to install the MOD Homing in the server and configure the file .cfg adding sv_damage 1

I really digg that you write posts with google translator tongue

A tip would be to use the supplied code for forums you get when you upload images on imageshack. They will give you nice thumbnails of the picture so one can get a faster opinion of your map.
Another tip could be to take a screenshot in the editor so you get the whole map in one single picture. Press TAB, then zoom and move the map so that you can see the whole map. Take a screenshot and post with your topic. It looks really nice smile

make your game-layer invisible ore delete its collision
anyway nice remake (in SSB for N64 Hyrule's Castle was my favorite-map^^)

Yes, I was thinking about doing another map, but the problem is that there are quite small and it would not be a DM, that would be Sparta XD

That's why I chose this first, since it is quite large, and there is enough playability.

The thinking was that the ship is making Fox,or the Zelda's Stage in SSB (N64) but earlier attempts to make some textures to be better.:D

I think the starfox-map will be very hard to get good.

Another map however is yoshis map. Wasn't that quite big?

You are forgetting the clouds now. Sure starfox is a lot longer, but yoshis map has clouds you can stand on quite far out. Those clouds would translate into platforms in TW, making a quite good map, as platforms enables you to escape better then solid ground.

I think the whole concept of SSBM maps would be great to transfer over to Teeworlds. They use a simple structure that promises fast gameplay, but also, (if we see to a map like the Zelda one) technical gameplay in some cases. I think more smash bros maps should be made. :] Yeeha!

Hey,

I am a big N64 fan and absolutely love SSB 64. Hyrule Castle looks good regarding the structure and layout, but it would be outstanding if you implemented the GFX used in the games, so that in the end it would look like 100% the real map. I know that would be a huge crapload of work but it would be worth it! Combined with some skins we would have SuperSmashTees 64 big_smile
