Everyone knows that you have done this great map. IMHO there is no need to have your name in the filename (don't get me wrong: if i would host your map i would preserve the name because i know you want it to wink ). You can't prevent people doing this, there are always people who break the rules.

Did you contact the server admin? Maybe he doesn't know what he is doing wrong smile

Holy shit, that's rly strange, thx a lot Paddy. As I cannot replicate this bug, I cannot try to create a workaround. Catpaw told me, that I should try to renew the quad. I'll give it a try tonight.

concerning "giving credits":
Just compare it to a songwriter/band. They write a good song and it took a lot of effort. They decide to publish it and some days later they find their song on e.g. youtube without their name, without any credits.

My personal solution is, that I will add a small quad layer with the map creater (motar) and mine as the reworker.

About the quad issues, you could also reset the texcoords to defaults with that xml tool.

A good band should stay over that.

Really landil we all who are a bit interested in anything behind the teeworlds show know you are a great map designer, personally I don't see the need to force that into the kids. When they call it "lost2" is IMHO nothing we'd really lose.

BTW: I looked at you map inside a xml edition, and the texcoords are okay. I thing the corners of the quads are no rectangles and somehow mixed up, make it "square" (wrong name in the editor btw) and resize it, then the strangeness is gone.

@thx a lot catpaw, I don't wanna fish for compliments, but imo it's normal/polite to give credits. If those kids don't do that, I will tell 'em. (cf. singature)

i will have a look at the mountains 2night. I just copied it from the original lost map, so I do wonder that it behaves strange.

Yeah thats right i played on a Server with the new Lost map and asked who made this map. But nobody couldn`t say me how created this map.

I made some updates, but I'm not sure if I will publish them, cause I want to rework it again with my maya tileset (which is by the way nearly finished)

I'm nosy already on the maya tileset.

Currently the map could IMHO be improved by simplifying it a litte. IMHO its just a bit too much... I don't know what exactly, but I experimented already what could give it a little lighter feeling without really losing anything of the good stuff.

I don't know, would the rain require less ressource if it were less but larger quads, containing several drops, while falling?

I dicussed this point with Lappi and we are sure that it would improve performance, but it would increase filesize and decrease the rain's naturalness.
--> if I do another rework this will be altered.

i rly love the reworked version, the normal lost had the perfect gaming and now it has the realy perfect look lol

so i am working on an lost_037 with the same game layer but snowtitels big_smile
