See I want to download the MOD file, but into which folder do I put it in? yikes

you apply the patch.

I don't have instagib. So why would I need a patch? yikes

Have you read the instructions in the instagib-thread?

Anyway, nowadays a precompiled binary for windows (an exe-file) is supplied, so you don't have to bother compiling on your own.
Use the exe supplied to set up a server in the same way you set up a normal server.

Used to be very active waay back

I double-clicked it, but then my server appears as "unnamed server". And I can't log in to the remote console.

oh boy, I can see where this is going... >.<

Tee: do as you do when starting a normal server, just use the modded exe instead of the normal one.

But I don't know how to get the patch to work. Do I have to put some code in the Teewars.CFG?

You don't, you just use the binary.

uhm, double click... and Bob's your uncle ^^

don't bother about compiling. You'll configure and start the server as a normal one, it is just a modded executable file (and use that different one). No .patch to apply, no nothing.

Tried it with the homing mod. Did work, but now my server is named "unnamed server" and doesn't let me in to the remote console.
