Hi there,
I've done a MOD called FlagBall. There are two goals and the strategy for the teams is to score with a ball (blue flag). This can be done by either throwing the ball into the goal (currently 50 points for the team) or by directly jumping with your tee into the goal (100 points for the team and 5 points for the tee; the tee will die). The MOD is a bit inspired by the UT2004(R) Bombing-Run Mode.
* with the Shoot-Button (mouse1) the ball will be thrown in the pointing direction
* with the Hook-Button (mouse2) it's possible to do a "direct-pass" to another player
* includes a simple Instagib-MOD, too
Maybe you've already played this MOD on our server ([FlagBall-MOD][Instagib], only running in the evening), it's really funny :-)
As a first test I've modified the map "lost" to fit the needs of FlagBall. But we need a new, good map which is pretty self-explaining for new players of this MOD. Here YOU come into action (if you like to). Who is willing to create a nice map?
Requirements for the map:
* it should be clear which goal belongs to which team (there should be colored-areas (red/blue))
* the goals should be cognizable as goals (maybe like a basket)
* a goal is simply a "DM spawn point", there have to be two of them of course. But: red team has always the be on the left, blue team has to be on the right (this is currently a restriction)
* medium size map
* green and sunny background (like map "lost")
* medium difficulty - not too easy but not too hard
