Hi.
I started programming a little utility, mainly for skin makers, which is called TeeViewer (how original!)
It allows loading PNG skin files to preview it without running the game.
It is developed in Java (6.0) since it's the only language on which I know how to do GUIs 
(and it's multi-platform too)
Download v0.8 (jar file, 9Ko, needs Java 6.0)
Nice, really nice. Now someone who knows php + gd could make a web version of that ( just an idea ).

but what is the sense of make a other
version of it for. it would be anoying

It was built at some point (was called TeeDB), but unfortunately i couldn't maintain it and it died. I plan on doing it again, but better this time.
Php and gd? I don't know, possibly.
It can be done, it's just a pain with gd.

Brilliant work! It's a lot easier now to see the tees while working on 'em. And a lot easier to see other eyes.
feature request:
ctrl+v pastes the clipboard-png
don't work on Mac OS X 10.5.4 Leopard (Intel) 
there should be an option to change the background colour!

The problem is that Java 6 for Mac OS X is only for 64 Bit Macs - I got a 32 Bit MacBook so I can only have Java 5 (that's what I've got). Could you please release a Java 5 Version of the TeeViewer otherwise it's not really multi-plattform!
Mac OS X IS a real OS -.- but It's an other discussion... I can't live with Windows or Linux, it's just... It just don't feel good to me
that's a pitty, that you won't do it in the near future..
What's the holdup for java 6 for mac 32-bit btw? Could you not just download it and compile it yourself?
LOL no. Apple is developing a extra Version of Java, couse Java don't support Mac -.-
there is ONLY a Java SE 6 for 64 Bit Macs and NO WAY to compile it myself... and also I don't really want to risc the health of my MacBook...
there is only a Java 6 for 32 Bit but this is badass! It use the X11 on Mac and you can't use it as standard-Java... Apple and Sun/Java weren't the beste friends in any time! ...
That's almost the same for linux (when I tried a few months ago), but it's the other way around.
There's a Sun Java 6, which works on linux 32-bits, but not on 64-bits. 64-bits users have to use iced tea. (in fact it's just the java plugin, for web browsers)
Yeah, the IcedTea is one ugly hack, but it works (more or less). However, as normal JREs you can use most of them

Also, it's sad to hear about apples grudge against sun... Even though I like to pick on Apple and Mac-users, deep down I think everyone should be able to use what they feel fits best (maybe part from windows =/ ).
