Topic: I need a lot of help! Everybody please read this!

I am the leader of the X-treme Clan, and we were going a long very well. But then, many people began to fake themselves as me, changing their name to |X-treme Leader| Magix as well. Then they began to swear at people, and if my people were in the game, they would try to kick my people out of the clan. Because of this, my reputation as a nice and fair player is dropping rapidly. Matricks, I need your help! Is there anything anybody can do? Please respond immediately if you have an idea. My gaming depends on it!

make and/or use a clan page.. and say your members that you will be online in the game and the page at the same time.. if not.. its a fake

Hey, I'm /dev/null, and I really believe that unless the devs implement a registration system, we will have to use the code words and shot codes that you posted about. Again, my mod will have an auth system so these things won't be necessary on our own servers.

Hey Magix!! Lawl... I agree with Captain AMN, it's not that big of a deal... And I think it should be a case for the POLICE. However, the fakes are beginning to find information that only the clan knows. This may pose as a problem.

That sort of stuff happens in every game. You just need to let everybody who plays know that it's not you. No biggie, eh?

Most definitely a biggie. What´s seen on the surface has a strong effect on what people think. I wouldn´t want this happening to me.

Its so easy to overcome such problems, just use your mindz plz. Heres some ideas I come up after thinking about it for 13 short seconds:
1. Make some stupid bind to say something stupid, which no one else says so when you say it others will know its u
2. Make up your style so others can know its u by watching u play
3. The ultimate solution for wthin a clan - make or download a custom skin, name it something stupid, for all members of clan, that way even those who download it wont see it, and u can easily see ur clanmates

1. This is stupid. Anyone can find it out.
2. This is also stupid, someone can fake it, etc.
3. This seems like the only decent solution that you can figure out. Even then, someone may get access to it.

There are some fakes of our clan too, but people get to know you wink

Fakes usually don't cause problems cause nobody has ALL of my binds.

When i bind-post our slogan some fifty times as always, ppl know it's me big_smile
So what i want to say that bindings and skins are usually enough prove for the people you know. Who cares about a guy inviting people to your clan, unless they aren't listed on the homepage, they can name their names how they please.

But of course, an account system would be the ultimate solution, but it has not the priority like making fucking clan ladders ;(
Anyways..a fake can't get worse than me lol

Well, they already have a master server (that was probably not cheap) so I guess that they can use a database.
