Topic: command to show fps?

hey I just got this game. it seems really cool. I played worms Armageddon for almost 7 years which is what attracted me to the game. 

anyway.. it seems like I get really poor fps in this game.. is there a way to display the fps or a way to improve performance?

win xp 32 bit
8800 gt bfg
amd x2 2.0 3800+
2 gigs ddr1 ram

yeah.. it seems like this game runs better on a crappier Pentium 4 machine then mine..

any tweaks I can do to make it run smoother let me know thanks.

first update your graphics driver
command to show fps : open console(F1) and write "cl_showfps 1" in wink teeworlds shows fps only when playing on a server ... not in game menue hope i could help you wink

thanks for your help Dani.  I turned off vsync and it seems like my game is smoother now.
