Topic: [TIP] Photoshop

if you tried to draw or copy a skin maybe you
also had that problem. There were always some little
white pixels around my skin > looked awfully

> if you also use Photoshop and you have that problem just
do following with the skin:

Filters > Blur > Gaussian Blur > about "0,2"

you won't see any difference and the pixels are gone!^^
feedback-please...

gnarf ... if you work with vectors, you won't have any pixels.

Re: [TIP] Photoshop

I do not like blurs, so I use Illustrator. Anyways, I copied a black object I made in Illustrator into Photoshop as a smart object, saved as a Photoshop PNG and exported it into Preview (the mac version of Microsoft Photo Editor) and saved that as a standard PNG like the other mapres. However, I still get the white anti-alias lines. How do I fix this?

Oh, and for all you people saying Inkscape is the best, you've obviously never tried Illustrator.

I need to figure out something to put here.

Re: [TIP] Photoshop

...illustrator is better but inkscape is for free^^
those white pixels must be some kind of bug in teeworlds
i mean they only appear in tw

so while testing i found out the trick with gaussian blur
its not really a good solution but the pixels are gone

Re: [TIP] Photoshop

I found a solution:
In Illustrator, click export, and then select PNG from the dropdown menu. big_smile

I need to figure out something to put here.

any reason why and/or how to fix it?

(also, none of you have apparently used the various vector tools in PS, it is very capable)

Re: [TIP] Photoshop

normal behaviour for my MSIE and FF if I just ctrl-c ctrl-v the picture. Save the picture on disk and open it in the program. now the transparency-information should not be lost.
