Topic: Steam Would Not Open

Greetings, I recently just started to play this game Teeworlds from Steam, but I am having a problem since yesterday night when I open Steam for playing the game, Steam would not open. But Strange! the web version is smoothly opening. I really have no idea what could be the issue. Then I searched online and came across this guide https://silicophilic.com/steam-wont-open, what do you think, is this guide will be helpful to follow?

A priori question: why open Teeworlds from Steam if you can put a Desktop shortcut to the web version of Teeworlds on your Desktop to double-click (to play)?
