Re: set up a sever problems

hi,

i cant help you with your secound problem but i think i can with the first.
what firewall have you deactivated? the windows firewall? the firewall of your antivirus software? the firewall of your router?
deactivating a firewall is not realy save, only open the port you need! you have to do that with all your firewalls. if only one firewall blocks that port you cant host the server.

your bad english let me think you are german? xD
im german, so if you cant solve your firewall problem just pm me

Speak english! If you do not speak very well, you can improve it here by practicing ;-) (for free!)

1. E.g. Try port 80
2. Start the teewars_srv in the commandline tool and look which error occurs. Often it's a typo.

Re: set up a sever problems

oh my god.... port 80 for http is TCP and teeworlds server needs UDP.. its impossible to run teeworlds on http port..

well at least that's a workaround which works indeed for my router! So if you wanna proof it, you can join my local server. tongue

Re: set up a sever problems

TCP and UDP both have all ports available from 0 to 65535... altough AFAIK port 80 UDP is hardly used every for anything...
